It's finaly been released... The Prophecy is out.

My latest book The Prophecy is finally out and I couldn't be more excited. Below i've put the blurb for the book and information for where you can find it.

Also this weekend the DAughter's will be having a celebration at our Yahoo site to celebrate the release we've all had. Come and join us, it's bound to be a blast and we have contests. hehe

You can buy it here: http://www.forbiddenpublications.com/book_pages/the_prophecy.html

Danan McClintok is a Prince of Eloisia, an Immortal, who against all traditions wanted more from his life than to live in pampered pleasures, he wanted his one. An urge he could neither explain nor resist came over him and drew him to the seeing Stone and earth. Earth, where only the eccentric or the damned go.

There he spotted a woman who drew him like no other, she was kind and giving. He sensed a pureness in her that he wanted to embrace and protect. She was his one. He could feel it. But how could that be? She was mortal where he would live forever.

Against the wishes of his Queen, and the warnings of his friends, he courts this mysterious beauty that has captured his heart, to learn in the end that she is the answer to the age old Prophecy, of the foretold True King and Queen.

Son of Heaven out now!

This is my IR, D/s, historical, erotic romance, super-epic length novel XD

If you like Jade Lee's stuff then you'll enjoy this. Except mine is sexier LOL.

A failed engagement has left Charlotte Freely an object of scandal. Her chances of finding a suitable husband are slim, but on a silk-buying trip, Charlotte meets a Chinese man who is far from bending to Western whims. Song Chao Ming, a descendant of an ancient imperial line, is used to being obeyed - and Charlotte finds herself helpless to resist such a masterful man.

But Charlotte’s brother has plans for her future. When she runs away to join Chao Ming, she gives up her Western life to belong to him - but both have a lot to learn about submission and control. Chao Ming gives Charlotte a Chinese name, Tianfu, but this isn’t enough to make her a Chinese woman.

Is lust enough to overcome two distinct cultural ideals, or will only the understanding of love allow the Son of Heaven to keep his precious Tianfu?

Bits & pieces

Blimey, the month went by fast. Not that I've been around for much of it. My uncle died so we've been clearing his house and dealing with all that sort of stuff; my brother's container arrived from China so as my sister-in-law doesn't speak English, I went to direct the proceedings there (note: British workmen don't like Chinese green tea. In fact, they totally freak out at anything not resembling a cup of builders); and a friend came over from Germany to see one of the actors from Rome in a theatre performance. She's quite keen on him and managed to get his email address LOL, so a result for her!

Then my OH went off on a week-long cruise of the Eastern Mediterranean and Aegean - starting at Limassol and calling at Antalya, Rhodes, Kusadasi, Patmos, Mykonos and finishing off in Athens. I received a drunken text proposing marriage, which has since been followed up in the proper manner, although I am still minus a ring. Hmm, should I go for diamonds or sapphires?

In the meantime, I've been working on my edits and a bunch of new stuff. Revenant has been signed off ready for release early next month, and Son of Heaven should be released this Thursday, alongside Aline's book The Prophecy!

And yesterday was the release of Yaoime, a M/M anthology containing my long novella 'Heart & Mind'. And I drew the picture on the cover, too. Here's the obligatory hard-sell, la.

1. Heart & Mind - Olivia Lorenz
Street entertainer Yan Yue is out of his depth in his new life as the pampered guest of imperial minister Shuo Han, but he's certain of one thing: he can make Shuo Han fall in love with him. Ghostly poems, an old painting, and erotic compromise bring together two very different men, aligning hearts and minds.

2. Zinged! - Mae Powers
Can two Sky-Guards of different ranks push the boundaries of protocol in order to find love and passion, while on an alien planet?

3. Don’t Ask - J. J. Massa
Falk Thayer and Captain Zack Smith have a policy. Don't ask, don't tell. It's not working.

I can't think of anything to blog about. A serious case of writers block.

Ah yesterday was my baby girl's third birthday. She asked me to start calling her a "big gurl" now. Whhhaaaaa. Sorry I just spent 24 hours covered in princess, pony, strawberry shortcake, Dora stuff it's left me a bit emotional. Why do they grow so quickly. Enough stalling onto the blogging!

I've been fighting with a serious case of writer's block recently. It's made blogging as well as plain old writing into an extended trip to the dentist. I've started writing conversations with my characters instead of actually story in hopes of stumbling across something that will get my muse moving. I'm starting to think of holding open casting calls for a new muse. Wonder if that will shake her up any.

So all of you out there in Internetland how do you fight writers block? Tell me your tales of horror and how you got out of them. It'll be fun now that it's over.

New Cover & Readying for RT

So, how do you like my new cover? I thought I'd post it here, just to show you all, then talk about other things because I like to post a pic on the blog every once in a while to keep it interesting. ;-)

Hara's Legacy is coming out on May 29th, so I'll have a chance to fill you in on the story more later. If you're really intrigued, visit my website ( www.biancadarc.com ) - there's a page dedicated to the book under the "FutureWorlds" heading.

Right now, I'm in a panic about packing and getting ready to go to the Romantic Times Booklovers Convention in Houston next week. This'll be my first time going to this event and there's lots to remember to bring. If you're in the Houston area, please come to the booksigning on Saturday. I'll be signing three of my books (Ladies of the Lair, The Ice Dragon, and Lords of the Were) and will be giving out promotional goodies to those who drop by my table and chat.

But I did do a fun thing this morning (which is why my blog post is a little late). I got a new hairstyle! New do, new you, and all that. I like it! Now the test will be to see if I can replicate the stylist's work on my own. Wish me luck!

As you can probably tell, I'm a little disjointed today, but it's all good. I'm excited about my upcoming trip and trying to remember everything I need to do before and all the stuff I have to take with me. If you're going to RT, I hope you'll look for me! I'll be in Club RT from 11:30-12 on Thursday with a great basket of prizes to give away and lots of promo goodies too. Hope to see you there!

Blogs Blogs Blogs

I'm running out of things to blog about LOL. I blogged here last week, and I was also a guest blogger at the myspace blog of Love Romances and More. I also guest blogged today at the WCP blog, and blogged on Saturday at the Torrid Temptations Blog.

My good news...I've written over 10k this weekend on a fabulous story. Yes, I'm actually excited about this story. I love the rush of writing something you love. The kind where you don't want to stop writing, not even to eat.

But real life and kids interfere. I sat down, all ready to write the first love scene, and school calls, no power, no heat, AND the fire alarm went off. The oldest daughter loved it, told me how the fire trucks pulled up to the school with the sirens blaring. Two companies responded with a total of 5 trucks. My son would have been in heaven. Apparently the emergency power triggered the alarms. AND they called at 9:45 but said not to come get her til 10:30. With no heat??? ARGH

She's home and reading so guess it's time for some nookie, hehehe. And it's weird, this story started out straight romance and turned paranormal LOL. I just can't help myself.

I was talking to Dawn as I was writing it, and I instant messaged her and said, guess what, she's got powers. A few minutes later, Guess what, turns out he can read minds. They did something to him while he was in South America. Poor Dawn, I think I totally confused her, but it's how my mind works. No matter if I write a synopsis first, or outline, or just jot notes, the story inevitably changes. And I love it.

This is why I write! For the rush :)
Happy Reading!

News and blah blah blah with Michelle - LOL

Good morning. Course I've drank so much water the past few days I feel as if I'm floating...this exercising and drinking excess water is for the birds. And then I get hungry before bed. LOL

Okay, my news: The Bodyguard releases April 24th from Loose Id and Sheila's Surrender releases May 1st from Whiskey Creek Press Torrid. I just finished the line edits from hell....and told my editor she'd have to try a lot harder if she wanted to get rid of me.

On Monday I was a guest blogger at Love Romances and More myspace blog. It was definately a fun experience, shame you have to be a member of myspace in order to comment.

I've been checking out the bebo thing and signed up, and wondered if I signed up wrong cause there was no where to put my books, then I saw the author link and clicked that and up popped a nice page of homework. *sighs* I was just too lazy after those edits to do anything. So one of these days I'll finish playing with bebo. LOL

Softball season has started and my 7 year old won her first game. But shhhhh....we're not supposed to tell, they don't tell the girls in this age bracket if they win or not because it is supposed to be instructional.

Morpheus forgot to put me to sleep last night, damn bugger. He owes me after that interview I did last year for Enchanted Ramblings.

Enough ramblings from me :) I'll leave you with my cover I just received yesterday for my May release. This time I get to be on top. Ha! Take that Tina - who was on top last time.

Blurb
Anna Shrewsbury is trapped.

The whims of her sister control her life. She wants to be free…and she thought her brother-in-law had helped her find freedom with his last act. But instead, she seems to be the butt of one of his infamous jokes.

She now has a half share in a company she doesn't want, while her childhood home and her promised sanctuary is bequeathed to a man who hates her. And then there's the deal. She has to live a week with him. A whole week with Zachary Quinn.

For six years, a shield of lies has protected Anna. But in beginning a new life, she must break away from those lies. Be prepared to face Zach's fury. And his passion...

Excerpt
She closed the door on his laughter. Damn the man. She'd dug a deep hole for herself with her numerous lies. Her reputation…well, she didn't want to dwell on how others saw her. But it had been made very obvious to her that day.

Anna stared down into the atrium. She calmed her breathing. There was little use in getting so angry. Zach would continue to believe she jumped anything with a big enough wallet. She doubted Eric Dalton's lies could blacken her name any further.

Though she did hope Zach could think she would have more taste.

Anna snorted and ran a hand through her hair.

She leant back against a pillar, glancing around the desks and cubes. Until she found that corner. Her lips burned again at the memory and she tried to think of something, anything else.

But the past was too strong.

He tasted of brandy and another, indefinable taste that almost made her groan. The gentle pressure of his lips, savouring her. His hands slipped from her face, shaped her shoulders, arms until he found the glass clutched tight in her hand. It found a new home on a convenient desk.

She was insane. This was Zach. Zach whose hands trailed fire down her body in slow exploration.

"I wanted to do this from the moment I saw you tonight."

His voice was a heated whisper against her skin and it pulsed a need through Anna that she'd never experienced. Her spine pressed up against the cool plaster of a pillar, Zach's body deliciously pinning her. "Why?" The word was almost a gasp.

His mouth found hers, pulling slow, soft kisses that had her head spinning.

"How could I not?"

It wasn't an answer, but at that moment she didn't care. His tongue flickered against her lips, her teeth and with her heart slamming, she opened her mouth to him.

The deliberate sweep of Zach's tongue over hers, hot, intense. This was unreal. Completely…

He deepened the kiss and all thought scattered.

Anna threaded her fingers through his hair, pressing his mouth hard against hers. Zach groaned. His hands shaped her waist and slid lower, curving over her hip and gripping her behind.

The rub of his erection against her body sparked little pulses of pleasure. Her hips shifted and heat flared. She groaned and her hands moved down, holding him to her.

"Do you know what you're doing to me, Anna?" Zach's heated breath stirred her skin and she shivered. His leg nudged hers, eased them apart. "What do you want?"

"You."

The word gasped out on too little air. The hard pressure of his leg ground against her pubic bone and liquid heat melted through her body. She found his mouth again.

More. She had to have more of him. Now.
